IPTN MS is currently using IPTN Detail Part Manufacturing facility to process raw materials into certified tools, jigs, and components for aircraft manufacturers, aircraft subcontractors, and airliners. The facility employs the state of the art machining and fabrication equipment and manufacturing technologies. Currently 63 CNC, 60 touch-in NC, and 180 conventional machines are used in the facility covering a broad spectrum of manufacturing processes ranging from prismatic and large part machining, medium/high press forming, heat treatment, surface plating for aluminum and steel alloy, chemical milling, adhesive bonding, composite, tube bending, spot-seam-TIG welding, to painting.
The state of the art technologies such as NC-CATIA and APT are used to handle almost all of part complexities from two to five axis CNC machine and various types of materials from aluminum to titanium using standardized and effective machining techniques (i.e., fixturing, cutting condition, and developed macro). Prior to the production stage, simulation using Vericut Application and/or NC-CATIA are mandatory to analyze and fix the interference, undercut, or no-cut movement in a very short time. In addition, MRPII and Shopfloor Feedback are used in production planning and control stages.
